Career Pilot Guidance
The Career Pilot Path is a crucial step in building the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to succeed in the aviation industry. This stage of training allows you to gain real-world flight experience while earning compensation, helping you progress efficiently toward your ultimate goal of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
By working toward your career pilot goals, you can accumulate the minimum 1,500 flight hours required for the ATP, all while receiving structured instruction, mentorship, and industry insight from experienced instructors at Vess Aviation. This guidance ensures that every hour flown contributes meaningfully to your professional development and prepares you for a safe, successful career as a professional pilot.

Eligibility

Age: Must be at least 18 years old.

Certificates: Hold a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and an Instrument Rating.

Flight Experience: Meet FAA flight hour minimums required for CFI training.

Medical: Possess at least a second- or third-class FAA medical certificate.
